Kansas Abortion Doctor Murdered By Pro-Lifer At Church…

This headline is paradox after paradox, and a bundle of oxymoron. I don’t know where to begin because this situation is just wrong on so many levels. First of all a pro-lifer killing another person (paradox #1), then an abortionist going to church (paradox #2), followed by a killing in church (paradox #3). There are so many moral issues to tackle, I don’t know where to begin, but before I do, please read the details of the story below:

WICHITA, Kansas — Dr. George Tiller, a Kansas doctor whose clinic received national attention for performing late-term abortions, was shot to death as he entered his Wichita church on Sunday.

Media reports said the suspected killer fled the scene in a blue Taurus. Police described him as a white male in his 50s or 60s.

Tiller has been among the few U.S. physicians performing late-term abortion, making him a favored target of anti-abortion protesters. He testified that he and his family have suffered years of harassment and threats. His clinic was the site of the 1991 “Summer of Mercy” protests marked by mass demonstrations and arrests. His clinic was bombed in 1985, and an abortion opponent shot him in both arms in 1993. {Excerpt Source}

  1. Oh great. Talk about hypocrisy; a pro-lifer killing an abortion Doctor. What we really need to make this even more ludicrous is to give the killer a death sentence.

    I can only imagine that the man who shot Tiller was acting under his own distorted version of beliefs being fed to him by his religion and whatever media outlets that may have coincided with those religious beliefs.

    In my opinion; he acted no differently that an Al Qaeda follower or suicide bomber might have acted.

    I’m not blaming religion per se, but sometimes when you mix ideology with an unstable mind these things happen.

    Ironically, this does nothing to promote the so-called “Pro-Life” movement.

    Whether you believe in a woman’s right to choose or not; this is not the answer.

  2. MrsGrapevine,
    Thank you for sharing this story with us. I like how you choose to discuss topics of such a broad range instead of something that might only relate to one group, race, or culture. Incidentally I found your blogs when I was on google searching for current images of Deelishis lol. Anyway, keep up the good work, I think your site is gonna become a huge success!
