To be honest my mother was not that strict on music. She didn’t allow cursing, or strong sexual content. So one of the groups that was band from my house was 2 Live Crew, and guess what it’s also banned from this site, even thought I use to jam it back in the day. When we had card parties my mom would play what she called “grown folks music” and would send all the kids outside or upstairs. Whenever I got caught singing one of these songs, one of the old cats would say, “what you know about that.” So this Friday I’m going to chose one of those what-you-know-about-that-songs.
