You just don’t understand how excited I am, and I don’t care if everybody post the same song, I will watch that one video over and over. Why? Because I’m obsessed with New Edition. They have been around all my life as R&B icons, and they manage to produce some great hits. I feel like I grew up with this group, and it makes me excited. Regina, Maravalus, and I, have a little feud over Ronnie Devoe, who was like the only member with a Gheri curl for an extended length of time…I apologize in advanced if I picked too many songs.

Something In Your Eyes – Bel Biv Devoe, this song goes hard. I know the video is cheesy, but I play this in my car all the time.
Rock Witcha – King of R&B, Bobby Brown. I know Whiney Houston was on something when she crowned Bobby B, but he did have some hits. I love me some Bobby B.
Last, but not least you are not a New Edition fan, if you don’t know the words, and all the oohs and aahs to this song. I better see this song on every blog…Can You Stand the Rain…

The ONE reason why I didn’t pick “Can You Stand The Rain” was because I expect to see it on every blog!…LOL I mean, that is a classic and like you said, everyone should know the words to this song, right down to Ralph’s ad libs at the end.
And I won’t know “Something In Your Eyes” at all! I bought the cassette just for this song!

These are some fine choices. As I think about it, New Edition doesn’t get enough credit as being one of the few so-called “boy bands” to make the successful transition into recording more adult material. I wonder if there are talks for them to do a 30th anniversary tour because it’s almost that time.
