This is my favorite time of the year. I’m just a big kid when it comes to Christmas. In my family, and I’m sure it’s the same in yours, Christmas is just not Christmas until you hear two songs, This Christmas by Donny Hathaway, and Silent Night by The Temptations. My choice is also a classic, and it just brings back all the memories of Christmas; it’s Happy Holidays To You by The Whispers…
My second choice is by Vanessa Williams. This song represents what Christmas is really about, and her beautiful voice with the jazz sound just make me feel good. Anyway here is What Child Is This by Vanessa Williams…
In the words of Austin Powers, “Who throws a shoe? Honestly!” Bush narrowly escapes not one, but two shoes hurled at him by an Iraqi reporter. Bush showed some serious skills when he ducked and dodged the shoes. Imagine if that was Senator McCain, he would have been knocked out…I just amazed at Bush’s skills. Not once but twice…
Beyonce has a big heart. We can say what we want about the woman, but one thing for sure she is very giving. Here is a clip of Beyonce on UK Idol supporting her biggest fan, Alexandra, during a duet. This is actually touching because Alexandra can’t stop crying when she sees Beyonce…
Finally, someone tells Slick Back a.k.a Terrence Howard about himself. In an interview Jaime Foxx gets revenge on Terrence Howard, who apparently had something negative to say about Jaime Foxx’s music in an interview on CNN news. Terrence what were you thinking, Jaime Foxx is a comedian…This is quite funny…

When it comes to my favorite bands, I must confess that I generally prefer rocks bands. I know there are talented soul bands, and so for this theme I chose two of my favorite bands from two of my favorite genres of music. The first song is from Morris Day & the Time, most people love them for their pop hits like, The Bird and Jungle Love, which are two of my lest favorite songs. I love them for their softer side, therefore my first choice is Don’t Wait For Me by The Time. I hope you take the time to listen, this song goes hard…
My second choice is Greenday. The reason I picked Greenday is because their music is meaningful, a lot like U2. You won’t find any empty lyrics in this band, and they are not afraid to take on the “establishment”. So when it comes to talents and actions, Greenday is one of the best around. They have so many hits, so I chose one that’s really meaningful… Wake Me Up When September Ends (an anti-war song).
Beyonce has been on her A-game, she’s certainly bringing back the glam of the 1950’s. Although there were other A-list celebrities at the Kennedy Center Honors, Beyonce Knowles Carter stole the red carpet with her beauty and elegance. I can’t forget about Queen, she was giving Beyonce a run for her money.
I was starting to think Sanaa Lathan and Ganrielle Union were right about blogs talking about unecessary stuff like Celebs’ ashen ankles. BUT, then I saw this picture of Keyshia Cole singing the National Anthem, and I realized sometimes we need people to tell us our slip is showing, and oh my, Keyshia Cole’s slip is really showing. This wig reminds me of the crazy lady at the McCain rally that called Obama an “A-rab”. Certainly if she is not listening to her stylist or her managers, it’s now up to the fans to say pretty girl, NO! This is not you!
I honestly think she wore the wig to honor Don King since this took place at the Oscar De La Hoya vs. Manny Pacquiao fight at MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Jay-Z is turning into quite the Renaissance Man, and I ain’t mad at it. I’m so glad he has stopped keeping it real and has decided to just be real. The nerd glasses are a bit of a stretch, but other than that I’m glad he’s growing into quite the role model. Beyonce looks really fly in that blue dress. They are just growing on me as a couple. Anyway here are pictures of Beyonce and Jay-Z at the Art Basel in Miami Beach…

Give me a beat! You guessed it my choice is Janet Jackson. I forgot she once played in Good Times, Different Strokes, and Fame before venturing out to start her own career in music. So my first choice is an example of her acting skills, and my second choice is one of my favorite J.J. songs. I started to choose the worst in this category, artist like Jasmine Guy, Mariah Carey, Eddie Murphy, and Sherman Hemsley.
Who would have known, she would have grown into this…
