I wonder who thought of this theme. Not only am I going to play, I’m going to cheat. I can’t just pick one song, and I can’t just pick an Old School Song. There are too many, I have changed my mind over and over, but here are my three. I hope y’all listen to all three.
To stay true to the theme my first choice is In The Mood by The Whispers. The Whispers was one of my mom’s favorite groups.
This next song is not old, but it fits the theme. My second pick is All I by Jill Scott. This is off her latest album, and it’s just a good song.
Last but not least, I chose Now That We’re Done by 112. Their first album was really good; all you had to do was press play …

You’re kidding right? Seriously, the first song that popped into my head was The Whispers “In the Mood!” We have got to be sisters from another father. LOL! I LOVE the Whispers although I decided to go with the Isley Brothers. “Lady” is in my top 50 songs of all time.
We won’t even talk about Jilly from Philly. That chick will get you in trouble! Great picks today. Happy OSF.

Lady is in my top 50 as well, that is my favorite song by The Whispers, but I decided to go with this one because of the theme…

i had to skip ‘osf’ for the week, but i’m still trying to make it around and leave comments. i am familiar with only one of the three of your songs and that belongs to the ‘whispers’. they really made some great baby-making music.

The Whispers I think should be labeled as the creators of Baby Making Music…
And I love 112…and of course you know how I feel about Jilly…

I’m sooo loving the Whispers right now!! Great choice, they were so smooth! I had never heard that Jill cut (I have got to step up my Jill Scott game!). 112 was hot until they fell off!

Great choices Mrs. G and as usual I learn about a new artist when I stop by. I’ve never heard of 112 – that was a nice song. The Whispers are awesome.

Jill “did it” with the floor the shower and the kitchen sink. I think I need to mix it up over here!
Happy OSF!

Hey girlie
The Whispers have made some of the most romantic songs in history. My favorite is called “Lady” I think. Well, I don’t know if that’s the name of it, but they say it a lot in the song! haha

By the way, one of the most romantic nights of my entire life was spent listening to the first Jill Scott CD.
Why you hafta bring me there, dang! I’m gonna go lie down now….
