I like when you get a real glimpse into the character to the candidates. When I came across pictures of Barack & Michelle Obama in my inbox, these two pictures stood out the most.
With all the drama surrounding Sarah Palin and her $150,000 shopping spree at Neiman Marcus, Saks 5th Avenue, and Bloomingdales; this picture says a lot about which politician understands what it feels like to be a regular person. Real people shop at a discount. I wasn’t aware that there is a Neiman Marcus in small town Alaska. Last time I checked Neiman Marcus is not located in “real” America, but in those big cities, where the liberal leftist live. It reminds me of what Chris Rocks said, “I’m voting for the guy who has one house.” Or in this case, I’m voting for the man who knows what it’s like to walk a mile in my shoes...
This second picture is important, because it’s one thing to show affectionate when the cameras are rolling, but it’s another to capture those unscripted moments. Do you have a man or a woman that loves you like this? They just want to be next to you sharing time with you because there’s no better place to be…

I remember a quote from Michelle on how she gets on Barack’s case because he doesn’t shop as much as she does. I think it’s great to see that Barack doesn’t wear brand new shoes every day. Those shoes look like he had them for the entire campaign trail. I like the last photo of them together. The photos just really stress how down to earth they are.

My mom all ways told me you can tell if a man LOVES, not likes his spouse by the way he looks at her. Barack loves the hell out of MIchelle vice versa.

I hope all ladies of America will someday experience the love and respect that Barack gives his woman publicly without being fake. Hopefully Barack can set an example for all men of every race in America on how to publicly not be ashamed to look at her with such care and devotion and include her name in conversations frequently. I have never seen any of the previous presidents and their wives look so real and close to one another, they all seemed so mechanical and distant as if they only played their rolls to put on a public facade for the world to see while doing their job.
I think Michelle Obama can also set an example for women of all types and backgrounds on how to stand by only a good man. Warning: Sociopaths and people with Narcissistic Personality Disorders don’t apply, the Obamas are an example of a healthy well bonded family. Americans should chose devotion and non-promiscuity to strengthen our future as a nation.
Barack probably learned these values from his white grandparents and translated this back into the black community. Now, its time for black men to start having kids with only one woman and stick to one family. He is setting a wonderful example for the world to see at least in that area of his life so far.
They are cool to see in the white house and I wish them all the best…

One more thing, the men and women of the world need a good example of a healthy relationship in marriage, and the Obamas do it well…

They are highly educated and hope to see the day come when most black people and everyone of color in this country are highly educated and successsful. Anyone can do it, its always been that way, but perhaps even more so now.
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE OBAMA FAMILY!

Hey I need a black looking guy with a white mother, raised by his white side with the appropriate example of familiy loyalty to be treated well just like Michelle.. LOL! But, I am sure there are more full blooded good black men too, just can’t seem to find any… They are all in jail or have kids by 100 different women and broke from child support payments.. Dealing drugs or dress in pants that come down to their knees..such losers…LOL!
Go Barack you are a REAL man and Michelle is the luckiest woman in the world:)
And Michelle makes an excellent example of what a black woman or any woman should be.. Successful, good grammar, takes pride in her appearance and good manners.. She’s awesome!
Black men and many whites and other races need a lesson in how to cherish the backbone(woman) of their families. Happy well loved and cared for moms make for well rounded happy kids – and stable family as a whole…

I agree, I hope to see many black and mixed race people become highly educated and make education and professionalism priority and also learn the value of having one solid family. The whole extened step family thing which became big in the 70’s has proven very unhealthy with all the half and step siblings, step parents.. What a nuisance for young kids and disaster for the family unit as a whole..
It’s time to get families to become united and strong without failure. But people are unfortunately selfish and silly, only doing what feels best for them without thinking of how destructive step families really are for women and children.. It’s such a mess, most kids growing up in those families never come out as happy well adjusted adults its almost impossible, unless one is fortunate enough to gain extended family that treats you as their own.
Hopefully their example will become contagious and many black families will imitate their loyalty as a family.. I love black people, but have difficulty watching such a disconnect continue from the damage of slavery.. The men have still not recovered from generations of fatherlessness and hopefully the cycle can turn around for many.. Let’s have hope and healthier happier successful and respected black families in this country and around the world. The same extends to other people of color and whites as well.. I believe we are all related anyway, we just look different, but all share Dna on some level..
The Obamas Rock!
