This is just a sad moment for black leaders, LeRoi Moore of Dave Matthews passed relating to an ATV accident, Bernie Mac, Issac Hayes, and now Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones. Most of us remember her for her undying support of Hillary Clinton during the primaries, but she was in fact the first black woman to represent Ohio in the congress. Jones was first elected to the position in 1998.

Following this story has been crazy. First they said she had died, then they had a press conference to say she was still alive, then they were saying that she did die.

That’s horrible, it’s not been a good month for your leaders-

Cleveland also just lost another African-American leader, city councilwoman, Fannie Lewis.

Hello there!
She was a phenomenal black woman, indeed!
May her loving soul rest in peace with the Lord.
I hope that everyone who reads about this very sad news story realizes that aneurysms CAN BE detected by many medical tests BEFORE they rupture.
Aneurysms do not just suddenly occur out of the blue. I hope that perhaps one black woman’s life will be spared because she read about this tragedy and made sure that she went online to research all of the risk factors of aneurysms.
Peace, blessings and DUNAMIS!

This is so sad to hear. I remember her unwavering support of Clinton when I was still on the fence. Such a young woman with so much unfinished work.

Everything has an end. Let’s just pray for her soul, may she rest in peace! Amen!
