This song is the anthem for all women. This song should not be played after a break-up, or else the guy’s clothes may catch fire, and his breaks may go out in the car. I don’t know if I can classify this as a sad love song, but I had to play it before anyone else…

So this song is one of those sappy love songs, and when you’re in love it’s just a beautiful song, but after a break-up this is one of the worst songs on earth…

Last, but not least. I had a crush on this group, don’t tell anyone, but yes I was a Debarge fan. They had some serious love songs. Here’s one of my favorites…

I also love the song, my friend gave the tape to me once and I still keep it with me.
Thank you for reminding me of some great memories.

Mrs. Grapevine please help a sister out and school me. Who is the first song sung by and what’s the title? Why all the mystery?
I was entranced by that video.
I’m so glad it ended well though.
Why do men always forget what they have at home? *shaking my head* It’s a damn shame!
Talk about mood jerkers. Humph!

@ Believer: I just take for granted everyone knows this song, it’s called I’m Not Your Super Woman and it’s by Karen White.

Never heard that version of Super Woman before – but, I love it.
Lady Day is my OSF pick for this week. Bring a tissue with you!

Karen White was a favorite back in the day. I think I had the cassette tape and I wore all the letters off that joint playing that tape. Excellent selection.
PS – I agree… please put title & artists so if we don’t know a song or remember the details you can help us out.
Please & thank you.

You know I’m stuck in the 80’s right!? The DeBarge song is my favorite! I have their ‘Greatest Hits’ CD and this song is on there and I love it! Too bad when Ashanti called herself sampling the song when she made her song ‘Dreams’ [which I like too], but still!

Happy Friday Mrs. Grapevine: And All the other OSF Folks!
DeBarge is still a favorite of mine.
I rushed home from a long day of training to see what today’s theme was all about. I see you picked a good one as usual!
I went way back in the day and came up with some blue eyed ear candy! Stop and check it out!

Debarge gets regular rotation on my iPod. I remember Karen White getting so much radio time. That was the anthem then, just like “I’m Catching Hell” by Natalie Cole was back in the day.
Happy OSF even with these sad songs.
