Not since the Reagans, have I seen a political couple that seems so in love. Say what you will about Ronald Reagan, but he was in love with his wife. Well, I have found a new couple that has that same energy, at least in picture they do… Michelle and Barack Obama. They are constantly kissing and embracing, unlike Billary who look more like best buds than husband and wife. Anyway I found this picture, and my immediate thought was, dayum…what is Barack whispering in Michelle’s ear?

I just couldn’t find that same passion with the Clintons or Billary as they are now known. In the first picture I can’t tell if they are huggin or if Hillary is trying to brush some lint off his suit. In the second, Hillary looks like she wants to pull away. I’m sure they’ve had that spark, but I can’t find a picture that captures it. They don’t hug and kiss like Barack and Michelle.

In that first pic Barack appears to be whispering sweet nothings: “Girl, when I get you home….You know how much winning SC turned me on, right?” LOL!

Bill and Hillary don’t seem passionate like Barack and his Michelle but that doesn’t make them any less in love… In my experience, commitment can be one of the most important things in a relationship and both couples seem to have that.

@ Jerishere: I don’t think the Clintons are less in love, it just does not translate on film. Notice I said, “at least in picture”, when referring to the Obamas, no one knows for sure what goes on behind closed doors.

I think Bill and Hillary have been through a lot more in their marriage and it shows. The Obama’s seem to have their love thing down pat. I love to see Senator Obama and his wife together; they are one handsome black couple and it gives black men like myself hope that this love still exists. I mean, my parents have been married going on 33-years, 33 good years at that, but it is still nice to see other black couples that are in love and support each other, especially a celebrity-status couple.

Lady, I know what you mean. Barack & Michelle are such a beautiful couple. I believe, on screen & off. That kind of chemistry is not made up, it’s real.

Black love is still alive and kicking in 2008!!! We just need strategies. The Obamas have found their strategies. How will you begin to find yours?
Love is not as automatic as we were taught. If so then family members should get along with much more ease. Instead support, and learning is needed. We need to learn to understand our mates. This can start by getting to know family members before the emotions has advanced to a high level. Understand what has shaped your mates ideas and beliefs. Most importantly, learn what those beliefs are. Its not as automatic as we were taught to believe. Its about patience and faith; as is everything in life.
