  Yeah, I’ve got to agree with Quick on that experimentation thang. I wasn’t feeling Beyonce’s hair or dress. The dress that Rihanna wore to the Pre-Grammy party was too old for her, and even though she still looked nice, I really wasn’t feeling Alica Keys’ doo.

  So, is Alicia Keyes’ song an ode to her female “partner”? “No one, no one, no one…can get in the way of what I’m feelin…’” Why would they want to, Alicia, unless its something weird or super kinky? How was Fergie lookin’ last night? I only caught a little of the show, and thought it was unremarkable. Kanye is a fool.

  Maybe I’m nitpicking, but is something a little different about Beyonce? She still looked pretty and I see she’s moving on back to the blond hair, but something looks off to me… I just don’t know what…
  
  I didn’t like any of Alicia’s hairstyles at the Grammys (the one where she’s in the brown dress is okay)

  @ Anon Nupe: Kanye is more than a fool; and I can’t believe they stopped the music for him. I laughed so hard when he said, “Now would be a good time to stop the music.” I guess that’s why we love to hate him, he’s such a narcissist.

  I’m not laughing at his mother or what he was saying about his mother. I’m laughing at typical Kanye West…being typical Kanye West. The music started playing long before he got to the subject of his mother, and it was the second time he asked them to stop the music. The only reason they did oblige was because he was talking about Dr. Donda West. He spent the majority of the speech talking about how great he was, and that’s what was so funny, and everyone on the show had the same amount of time, but only Kanye complained. Now if they would have played the music while he was talking about his mom from the jump that would not be right, but the music started when he was talking about how great he was compared to Amy Winehouse and the other nominees.
  
  I have nothing but respect for the lost of his mom, and that’s why I didn’t exploit it when she passed. It was just another way to say, he’s getting back to his old self.

  Well, I thought that at first but he was going to say something about his mom and was working up to it. They started playing music but who would actually think, “Well, I was going to say something about my mom, but my time ran out so I’m not going to anymore.” Even if he was talking too much about himself, which we could all agree he was, he was going to get out what needed to be said about his mom too.

  I liked Rhianna in the native dress but those blue ruffles were not cutting it. I like Alicia’s look.

  i dont like beyonces get up at all, it looks like a costume instead of a dress. i loved alicia at the pre-party, not to sure about the blue get up and rihanna had nowhere to go but up after that hot mess of a sack she wore to the pre-party..
