Beyonce snubbed the Oscars to spend a quiet evening dining at La Esquina in New York City. I don’t blame her, it was nothing exciting going on, and that’s why many of us bloggers decided not to cover it. I still think something is going on with her, I guess she’s not pregnant, but something has changed. Just for fun, I have included pictures of her last outfits, they are all baggy and that’s just not her style. I keep asking myself why do I care, I don’t know, I’m nosy and it’s just that simple.

Johnny Gill maintains that he’s a heterosexual and that he and Eddie Murphy have been nothing but friends, for the last 24 years. Is it a full moon outside? Snoop Dogg doesn’t get arrested, he’s receives a ticket for possession of marijuana. J Holiday on the other hand was arrested for possession discovered during a traffic stop in which he was pulled over for speeding. Ne-Yo was arrested for driving reckless without a valid license. Poor Ne-Yo, that is not a reason to be arrested.

Barack Obama had a rally in Dallas, today, and of course I felt obligated to attend. I was so excited, I took my three year old son and my brother-n-law. There were so many people there it was just amazing. So many cultures, and people of all ages. Usually I have plenty to say, but I am at lost of words. I don’t know how to describe to you the feeling I had. All I can say, it was surreal, almost magical, sublime. Anyway I’m sure you would rather see some pictures…
People were so excited that they did the wave. I really thought I was at a Texas Shootout between the Spurs and Mavericks doing the 3rd round of the playoffs.
I am taking a much needed break, and I will resume posting on Wednesday. Instead of posting, I will be visiting all my favorite blogss over these next two days, and catch-up on some rest and relaxation. Before I go, I had to post these pictures of Beyonce and Gabrielle Union at the Two Kings Dinner hosted by Lebron James and Jay-Z this past weekend in New Orleans during NBA All-Star.

Is this a shameless plug of his new album, or an attempt at freedom of speech, or just a poor fashion decision altogether? I’m not sure what to think of Nas and Kelis outfits at the Grammy. My initial reaction was to ignore them because it was obvious they were seeking attention, but maybe it was more political than that. Honestly, I don’t know… but after his last album I think he purposefully named this album “N-word” to gain attention or better, yet record sales. Really, was the Grammy the place for it?
