It’s back to unreality and the first story I come across is that Eddie Murphy and Tracy Edmonds call it quits. They just got fake married two weeks ago, and now they have decided to not get married legally, and remain friends. Inquiring minds want to know. What do you think happened?
“After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forego having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further,” Murphy and Edmonds tell PEOPLE in an exclusive statement. “While the recent symbolic union in Bora Bora was representative of our deep love, friendship and respect that we have for one another on a spiritual level, we have decided to remain friends.” [People.com]

Best she get out now before he really messes up her life. The courtship was messy enough — what woman could love a man who refuses to see his newborn baby? That’s where the rubber would hit the road with me. He has shades of misogyny. Tracy can do better.

They both need to be taken somewhere, lined up and be pelted with acorns! I mean what kinda mess is that!? How do you decide in two weeks that you made a mistake when you have had all of the time in the world leading up to that [shakin' head]. I truly don’t get what is going on. yeah..uhmmm..there something a little off about Eddie..Ever since Coming to America,Beverly Hills cop,Trading Places…he has not been the same. He looks different…Anyway,i am starting to believe that Eddie just can’t make it work with a woman..now, I am not saying that it means he wants to try with a man but i am just saying he just can’t get it together where women are concerned. Maybe he should be asexual like Michael Jackson

First all.. What even made them even hook-up?? This situation was suspect from the Jump. Eddie should be ashamed of himself, He need to be worried about being a father to his SIX children instead of trying to stay in the media. And Tracey……. Hmph! No Comment!

I was at Walmart the other day and saw them on the cover of the February issue of Ebony–talking about couples. I know that pissed somebody off at Ebony. Talk about bad timing.
