I know I am old because I’ve watch this girl grow-up. I remember her acting with the Olsen Twins on Full House. She has been in so many movies (Eve’s Bayou, Roll Bounce, Ruby’s Bucket of Blood) and countless TV appearances (Cosby Show, On Our Own, Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper), and she is only 21. I always thought she was beautiful with a unique blend of features. Here are candids of Jurnee at the premier of The Great Debaters.

Man! I used to love me some Jurnee! She was our Black Dakota Fanning, as far as I’m concerned. I used to want her to be my daughter. Just noticed that her left eye is smaller than her right. I wonder if there’s any hope that she’s still “intact,” if you know what I mean. The thought that my ‘lil Jurnee has been violated just breaks my heart. But I have been waiting for this moment, when she suddenly blooms into a real woman and begins taking on mature acting roles. I’m praying for her.

She did grow up to be a beautiful young lady, just goes to show what time can do for us when we are younger and fighting that “Ugly Duckling” stage.

Isn’t she just a doll?! I too remember some wonderful performances from her when she was much younger, and she was always soooo good! Funny, I was looking at an old “Martin” repeat of him telling the story of Christ’s birth (sorta, LOL) and she was the cutest lil’ thing on there. It’s good to see her as a young woman back in the mix!

she’s very pretty, if you remember the end of roll bounce after she got the braces off and started dressing more girlie she was very pretty also, her eyes remind me of Alicia Keys.

Damn!!! I missed Roll Bounce so I ain’t seen ole girl since Eve’s Bayou. She jumped leaps and bounds from that! Even though she is cute, I can’t look at her as anything more than that same lil girl from the movie. Now Meagan Good on the other hand…

i actually didn’t know she had been around that long. first time i noticed her was in Roll Bounce. from the previews of The Great Debaters, she did a very good job.
