It’s weird how our little blog world connects, Mind of Marcus was just blogging about this cat, and then I visit That’s Not Hot and see this photo of him. I now understand why people have a problem with the hip-hop generation. I can now look through the glasses of my grandma and see what she sees. After I saw this picture it was over, and I am just speechless; so I’m letting you do the talking. What’s wrong with this picture? Why does it bother me so?

…i’m feeling the outfit except for those jeans. They are way too low, and way too close to a pair of “skinny” jeans. But the jacket, scarf, and kicks are on point.

His outfit is wack…he is so not stylish. What ever happened to artists being stylish!? Omarion’s outfit looks like he tried to borrow the style of eight other artists and put together his own only for it to come out lookin’ like some SH_T!

The photo may bother you because the scarf he is wearing is a “fake-me-out” Islamic kifaya usually seen in either black and white or read and white, but comes in several different colors. He didn’t have to rock a fake one.
The other issue is the “I-can-still-fit-these” jeans he is wearing from the 5th grade and the Diana Ross do.
It’s not really THAT bad imo, but his swagger isn’t shining through, which is the biggest issue of all. He failed to make it work!

ok u guys on here def dont know anything about today’s fashion…c’mon ppl…his stylish biker jacket coordinates perfectly with his latest-in-male-street-fashion skinny jeans…and pairing this with a fitted white tee not only makes him look super kool and cute but also allows his sittin-ass scarf and kool-ass kicks to pop… & his hair, belt, watch, and necklace are the details that add a final touch of style …..i mean what would u guys rather see him in?? a boring ass suit???…i didnt think soo…This outfit is on point!

You wear fashion according to your persona, Omarion is not a rock star, and this just looks stupid on him. He’s trying too hard, and mixing too many styles at once. yeah fashion expresses ur persona & yada yada…but isn’t Omarion is a flashy person?? ..and hence his flashy style… and ok yeah im sure some fashion critics will say this is a mess of an outfit but there are others who think its hott…yeah it has its flaws of maybe there is a lil too much going on at once but look at the setting, 106 and park, he def appeals to the target audience, and of course this would look a mess on someone’s red carpet …but there is no reason for this outfit to be under this type of scrutiny …lol….(random question comin)…where are u from MG?

It’s probably my age (30) and not my city. I am from Dallas, TX. It’s not NY or LA, but it’s certainly the fashion forward locale of the South.I see young men in skinny jeans with Vans and a vintage tee, and I see young men in the scarves, but Omarion just has too much with the shoes, and the hair, and the jacket, and the sunglasses.
However, I see that you do have a sense of style and I will take another look, but it’s safe to say we will agree to disagree. At least you know what you’re talking about when defending his look.

Ok guys, I see a lot of disagreements. What is for sure is that those skinny jeans (so tight and short that you have to wear them under the ass) + the sunglasses + the haircut + the jewlz+ the colorful sneakers and the FAKE kifaya scarf are in style today. Every teenage today, especially in New York, wears such an outfit, such a “combo”. If you wanna be fresh and stylish, you have to dress this way, being the most “vintage” you can.
NOW, you gotta admit that this is LAME, this trend is HORRIBLE AND STUPID. Im a sneaker addict myself, I attach importance to sneakers’ history and harmonious colorways. Today youngsters are buying rainbow-like Hi top sneakers. The more you look like a rainbow, the fresher you are! They don’t even try to look good, they wear clothes that don’t even match, NO they wanna be flashy. And then I hear ppl who dress that way saying that they are bringing somethin new, that they are just being different, being themselves…blablabla BULLSHIT, you trynna look like teenagers from the 80′ or so and everybody’s starting to wear this way right now, so you’re not that different, and this not your own style, you’re just a ME-TOO.
Talking about Omarion, he might be a lil too old for that sh*t, but if he wants to dress this way, WHY NOT? But please do it for real. Go out in the streets, in the hood, and watch them youngsters, they re way more stylish than you in that trend. Plus, youz a star right?!! Aren’t you supposed to start trends instead of following them? Especially this one!

I think it’s mainly his posture. He looks homo as hell. I don’t have a problem with homosexuals, but I never thought of Omarion as homo…. until now. I can’t say much about the outfit cause I’m not down with today’s fashion. It just doesn’t suit me or many other people I see trying to fit in. It looks like he should grow fairy wings and fly away.
