I love the hair… a little too long and un-be-weave-able for me, but still a great style. I think she looks great, and really any “weight” is from the unfortunate layering/combo of her clothes…

@goofy, Well, alot of black female entertainers where wigs and weaves as what we like to call ‘protective styling’ because the demand of having to comb, brush, color, relax and put heat on our head. If we wore our real hair ALL the time like you say you’d preffer, our hair will eventually become so damaged, it will quickly break off, thus leaving us with thin, short and fragile hair that can easily turn into alopecia. So its more than just someones preference. Its a necessity that has to be done every now and then…
