50-cent invited Kanye to a presidential style debate to market their new albums on 106 & Park. Although it would have made great marketing Kanye turned it down on MTV’s TRL. Kanye West had the following to say:
“I don’t have beef with anyone. What am I going to debate about? I’m going to go in the studio and make music. When I heard the thing about the debate, I thought that was the stupidest thing. When my album drops and 50′s album drops, you’re gonna get a lot of good music at the same time.”

MG Says: I died laughing when I heard Kanye’s answer, for the simple reason that a debate on “why you should buy my album” is the stupidest thing ever. But in defense of Fitty, it would make great TV which will make even better album sales for both. Maybe not so stupid after all.
