“No one knows why we canceled the wedding, but I can tell you that all of the reasons that everyone is speculating and writing about are completely untrue,” Foster told PEOPLE Monday, but she declined to reveal more about why the nuptials were called off.

According to V-103’s Ryan Cameron, Usher and Tameka Foster are still a couple and their wedding will go on as planned at a later date. Additionally, a source close to Tameka’s camp confirmed that Tameka is indeed in a local Atlanta area hospital suffering from complications related to her pregnancy.
I love the kids, so I hope all is well with Tameka and the baby boy. Yes, it’s a boy according to S2S.
Obviously this is no fault of Usher and nothing to be ashamed of, we all probably got one in the family. According to an tabloid article scanned by UsherForever.com and posted at Sandra Rose: Usher Raymond, Sr. has been arrested and is serving time for petty theft and drug related crimes. Rapper Twista was cut from McDonald’s Live Concert Tour for his “controversial lyrics”. If I was Twista I would file a lawsuit, McDonald’s knew his lyrics were controversial when they signed him to the tour. On the other hand, people are tired of misogynist lyrics, racial slurs, and derogatory words in rap music.

Rapper Twista, who was tapped by McDonald’s to perform during its nationwide concert series, has been dropped from the lineup because of his “controversial lyrics,” the fast food giant said Monday.
McDonald’s, which initially signed the rapper to perform in Chicago for its 10-city concert series, said it could no longer support Twista for the Aug. 7 performance.
“Although we respect free speech and artistic expression, we do not condone or perpetuate derogatory language,” said spokesman William Whitman in a statement. “We want to ensure these free concerts are fun as well as appropriate for all of our customers.”
When asked why they booked the rapper, given his content, the company referred back to the statement.
In an interview with The Associated Press, Twista said that in some ways, he was surprised by the announcement, “especially after hearing from certain people that represented McDonald’s that they were fans of the music and they were excited about the whole thing and that they backed me, and then to hear a few a days later that I was actually not on the show.”
However, he blamed the increased criticism of hip-hop in the wake of the racial flap over former CBS radio and MSNBC broadcaster Don Imus for putting pressure on the corporate giant to drop him from the series.
“They started hearing things … feeling like they were getting a little flak, and I felt like rather than stick by me and stick through it, they got scared,” he said. “I’ve been rapping the same way for 15 years. It only became a problem when Don Imus said something negative about black women and they needed a scapegoat.” [Source]

Back Story: Brit continued her busted breakdown while filming a new music video. Sources told the Daily News that she seemed “disoriented” and “erratic” during the shoot for her new single “Get Back.”
The tawdry train wreck seemed “wobbly,” said one source, and had to keep stopping for frequent bathroom breaks. “You could see she was getting a bit wobbly, but no one expected her to throw a complete fit. According to People.com:
The wedding of Usher and Tameka Foster, originally planned for Saturday afternoon at record executive LA Reid’s home in New York’s Hamptons, has been canceled, a representative for Usher confirms to PEOPLE .
A source also says that the 70 to 100 guests who were expected at the wedding are being advised that the event will not take place as originally planned. Flower decorations have also been seen being removed from the Reid home.
In a statement, publicist Patti Webster said, “It was announced today that the wedding ceremony for Usher Raymond IV and Tameka Foster was canceled. No additional information will be given regarding the circumstances of the cancellation, but we hope the privacy of this matter will be respected.”
Webster would not comment on whether Usher and Foster are still engaged or even remain a couple.

Etta James was in stable condition Thursday after being hospitalized for complications from abdominal surgery she had last month, her manager said.
The 69-year-old blues singer was being treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
“Her condition is stabilized” but she had to cancel upcoming tour dates with B.B. King and Al Green, her manager, Lupe De Leon, said in an e-mail.
De Leon did not indicate when James was admitted but said the hospitalization was caused by “post-op complications” from her mid-June surgery. The complications and the nature of the surgery were not specified. [Source]
Nicole Richie pleaded guilty to DUI and was sentenced to four days in jail on Friday in a Glendale, Calif., courthouse – just one month after her pal Paris Hilton walked free from behind bars.
She also agreed to serve a three-year probation term, and must enroll in an alcohol education program. She was also fined $2,048.
During the hearing, Los Angeles County Commissioner Steven Lubell admonished Richie, saying: “Someone could’ve gotten killed. You need to understand that driving under the influence is extremely dangerous.”
Richie was given the option of serving her time in a paid city jail, which is seen as a cushier facility than a county jail. She was given no surrender date, but must complete her jail time before Sept. 28. [Source]
